Lagoon.. It's what fun is!

The only theme park in the mid west so you can imagine how crowded it gets and how much a burger cost! But we got in free, Teds work had a lagoon day for all employees and their families. We had Kim and her family with us too. It was Daesha's first time and she had a ball. She screamed and laughed on every ride. It was so much fun to see her so happy and having so much fun. I was nervous to take her on the rattlesnake rapids incase we were the ones who got soaked in the waterfall. (she doesn't like fountains or water falls) We did get soaked in the water fall. It took my breath away because the water was so cold but she just laughed. She even went on the haunted house ride. Just as we went to get in the little car she started to have second thoughts and told her dad she didn't want to go, but we made her anyway. She never cried but she held her hands to the sides of her eyes just incase she needed to cover them quick. As soon as we came out of the ride she said "that wasn't spooky." Ted and I went on the catapult. Its the ball that seats two and shoots you in the air. It was pretty fun. I was nervous at first but it really wasn't scary at all. I think the huge freefall swing is a much better thrill. Daesha watched us as we went up and started cying pretty bad. She told us we are never to ride that ball ever again. I'm ok with that. It was a good day to be with my family and friends.
