CRAP THESE PICTURES SUCK!!!! They are totally out of focus. It's not like these are just everyday pictures. I want to cry.
Any way we met our birthmom tonight. Her name is Jasmine and her daughters name is Tayja. (really close to Daesha) She was born in Florida but grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. Jasmine picked Red Lobster for dinner. Which is one of our favorite places to eat. Daesha and I went to Build A Bear earlier today and got a pink bear for Tayja. Daesha helped make it and put a star with a wish in it. I asked her what she wished for and she said I wished for a baby.
What a smart girl!
I also got some chocolate covered strawberries and raspberries for Jasmine.
Dinner was great but how do I put this in words.... um, Jasmine was very distant. I couldn't tell if thats her personality of if she totally hated us. It was so weird. I was really grateful to have the two kids there. They did most of the entertaining. She never asked us any questions. Only one. "Have you thought of any names?" We told her we liked Keegan and she agreed it was a cute name. I told her that we didn't know what to do for the middle name, and that we might need her help with that. She quickly said, "oh I don't care it's up to you guys".
Man this is such a stressful time. I try not to think that she might change her mind but the possibility is there until we sign. A good thing that she said to us as we were leaving was, "I will see you bright and early Friday morning". So anyway it was not by any means what I was hoping to learn. And we just are praying like mad that she is just scared and doesn't want to attach herself to us because that would only make things harder.

We are praying all the time for you guys! Sorry that the meeting was hard to read - it's got to be the hardest thing for her too - to meet such an awsome couple and be glad they will be a great family, but at the same time it's such a scarey/sad thing to experience on both ends!
We will keep on praying - even Gage says to bless Daesha with a new baby! I can't wait! Keep us posted!
