Family is the reason for the season

I really like getting together with family at this time of year. At the same time I miss the ones who are far away even more. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Here are a few pictures and things we have been doing this Christmas season.

Christmas Eve we went to Teds sisters house. For years the Nelson's have done a fondue dinner. But the last 2 years we changed (not sure why) we make navajo tacos. We still have a chocolate fountain with everything you could possibly dip in chocolate. We always play games and pull the kids around behind the 4-wheelers. Grandma and Grandpa Christiansen give all the kids and grandkids their gifts. And then Grandma and Grandpa get to open the gifts from the kids. Pam made all the grandkids a bean bag. The kids loved them! Thanks Pam!!

We were there until 11:30! Both kids were up and running until 11:00. So we packed up and went home. Ted and I had all the gifts wrapped the night before, so we just brought them up stairs and put them under the tree. We didn't have a single present under the tree all month. Keegan would have them unwrapped as soon as we weren't looking. Notice the tree is only decorated on the top half. Reason is Keegan. Recently awarded the name DISTRUCT-O.

Christmas morning both kids ended up in our bed. Everyone still asleep at 9:30.

The 4 wheeler was a hit. Keegan jumped right on. Daesha wanted to take it outside right away. We had to talk her into opening her other gifts first. Ted and I are skipping gifts for eachother this year. He surprised me with a small gift he knew I would love.. I got some sweet footsie jammies!

Christmas Day we went to my sister's for a very yummy ham dinner. Then on Saturday we went with the Adams to their family cabin, and came home Wednesday.
