Daddy Daughter Day

Ted took Daesha fishing this week. They were gone most the day. When night had started to fall I called Ted worried. After being married to Ted for thirteen years one of the things I have learned is you don't hurry a day when your outdoors. So when Daesha answered the phone with a cheerful, "Hello Mommy" I knew they were having a fun time. So I joked with her a bit and asked if she was bored, cold, and wanted to come home. She said no, and I have on dads sweater so that answer is no too. And NO I don't want to go! She told me they caught 1 bass and 2 perch. That's it! And you've been there all day! I didn't really say that but I would have if I had been there. Apparently it was a lot of fun fighting fish in and then breaking the line before they could bring them to shore. Daesha was thrilled to tell me her Dad had cut open a female fish to show her the eggs. She said they felt cool. (ick)

The next day we had delicious fried asian style fish. so yummy.

don't turn me in for child porn....
Daesha loves taking long showers. I let her take a longer one because she smelled like fishy lake water. So after a LONG while I went in to tell her to wrap it up and this is what I saw
(minus the Black Editing Blob)....
