So just as this weekend was a blur to me here is basically what I saw.
Daesha hanging out with me on our bed tracking Santa Claus on google.
Then at the family party...
The first game of the night is always a crowd pleaser! The crazy dress up to unwrap several hard to unwrap gifts. This year my cousin Stephanie dominated. She ripped those duct taped gifts open like it was tissue paper. She got to the last gift and won 10 bucks.
We also do white elephant gift exchange. I am pretty sure I have expressed my small dislike to this game. This year I can blame the drugs..... This year was NOT funny. For a couple reasons.
#1 Someone always regives something from last year! So Keegans gift was last years RIP Snowman. In the same container and growing mildew!!!! This gift got tossed in the garbage ASAP. Sorry. Not taking that one home.
#2 Kids will like just about anything. So no matter how ugly of a gifts it is MY kids will insist on hanging it in their room.
And here it is! Daesha's gift. I've only seen these at the asian store at the mall. And some casinos. Now Daesha is the proud owner of such a lovely "maserpiece". Yes it even lights up and makes horse sounds.
This is Daesha giving Pam the "don't you dare take my picture"
And reason #3 is my gift. What ever it is.... it was quickly taken by Keegan who loved it! One mans garbage, my kids treasure.

Then just because we are loved so much Daesha got 2 white elephant gifts. She is holding a giant bug from the movie "Bugs Life". And Keegan is holding my ... um... spider thingy.
I know I am being a bit rude. Hope nobody takes offense. Not sure how someone could take offense to a gift that is supposed to SUCK!

My neice was so sweet to give her old leapster pads to my kids. She said that because she could read she didn't need them anymore. Thanks Shamae
