Thor's night before he leaves wasn't considered going out with a bang. We found him in Keegans room were he decided that he would get out some markers and personalize the Elf on the Shelf book we have. Some may think this is a bad idea because you are possibly telling your kids it's o.k to color in books. For us it wasn't going to be an issue. Because my kids know if they color or rip a book I may rip off one of their arms. I'm just kidding of course the punishment is slightly less severe. But both my kids have been warned about mistreating books. Anyway, here are a couple pictures of what Thor did to the book.

Added his own name to the list of names the kids were thinking of. Also colored the girls hair black and curly like Daesha's and the boys hair like Keegan's.

Personalized the kids and labeled them. Also colored over the cat in black and labeled it our dogs name, Lizzy. Keegan and Daesha decided that the 3rd wheel who didn't belong in the family was actually Megan Adams because she comes over a lot.

Another page that he had fixed the hair and also colored over the cat to look like our dog.

The kids never touched Thor the entire time we had him. Keegan never talked to him because he said he was afraid to. Yet he was always the first to wake up smiling and excited to find him every morning. Daesha seemed a bit more sceptical. I am pretty sure she doesn't believe that Thor is real. But she willingly plays along and seems to really enjoy having him around.
When we got home late from our family Christmas Eve party the kids were VERY tired. It was a battle getting them to change in their jammies, brush their teeth, potty, then say prayers before they literally were snoring 2 steps before they reached their beds that they forgot to say their goodbyes to Thor and they forgot to get out the cookies for Santa. Good thing their Dad had them covered. :)
