Daesha was a part of the school play this year. She was dying to have a part but they were only allowing 3rd through 6th graders to have parts. The 1st and 2nd graders were in the "Sam I Am Choir" so she happily signed up. I thought that the paly was really good for 200 little actors and singers. Daesha loved being a part of it and may possibly have a little bug for future acting oppurtunities.
I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the performance but all the kids got on stage the last night of the play to thanks the directors and take a few silly pictures. Daesha told me that she had to fight back some tears when she realized it was the last night of the play.
